SE already warned that having new hair styles with longer hair would clip with a lot of the gear. People wanted them still, so SE added them
( ' ')/\(' ' )

I use a similar hairstyle and I've learned to just bite the bullet and ignore it. =/ The only solutions I can think of, and have no idea how hard or easy it would be, would be to make the hair tuck into armor or lay on top of it. Saying it should be entirely removed is hardly a practical solution. It would be more practical for you to just not use it if you dislike the clipping so intensely.
I really like how TERA went about the clipping issues. Your hair would go into a ponytail or an updo to avoid clipping into the armor. All armors that had high collars would trigger this. However, they also added an option to disable the automatic updo so you could keep your hair long with the high collared armors since some of them didn't have glaring clipping issues and the hair covered the armor perfectly fine. It makes sense since even in other media, anytime you see someone wearing something with a high collar, they don't wear their hair long because it'll be a nuisance.

This is probably what they do at their developer conference.
Players talking about clipping issue do we wanna do that or finish up dark knight plans.
Dark knight plans
clipping issue comes up again.
Do we wanna finish up golden saucer or clipping issue.
Golden saucer.
it will always fall under something bigger because clipping issue isn't hurting anything or causing the game to break.
That's why I said what I said and maybe in the future when someone actually says hey lets get to that clipping issue then it will happen.
I think they even stated clipping issue would happen with long hair, also don't get me wrong not having a clipping issue would be nice but life goes on.

There's far too many actual important issues that better be addressed before anyone touches this...
I can't even believe this is a thing... Honestly, how much time do you spend staring at a close up of the back of your characters neck?
By the small few that bring it up... EVERYONE!!!!!

Everyone: pronoun
1. every person; everybody.
I don't think that means what you think it means.
Honestly, it's the pettiest of the petty. You don't like your hair clipping through your outfit? Well, guess what? We've got an aesthetician to change your hairstyle to something that won't. You don't like your robe clipping into your leggings? Well, we've got solutions for that in the glamor system.
Seriously... does SE need to be bothered about every tiny fashion-based combination that you personally choose? Some items will clip. Get used to the idea, because there isn't a game in the universe which doesn't have clipping issues. Not one. Never has been, probably never will be. Leave the dead horse alone. It's been flogged for long enough.

If they can't fix long hair then how about stop making gears with back hood? add some cape or scarf will look better anyway.

One would think that the former leader in the industry for hair effects would have a little more pride then this, it's just tacky.
