During the Preliminary Rounds we lost 22 Models through mass eliminations.
And now just 15 models remain!
Over the next 14 photoshoots models will be eliminated one by one until the last remains...

Round 1 – Sexy Librarians
This week, in our back to school special, we had the models hit the books!
The models had to be wearing glasses, and inside a Personal Room or Free Company house with bookshelves in the background. They were told to aim for a Library-like feel. Gear and Color were the model’s choice!

Round 1 will end on September 8th at 11pm Central USA time. Round 2 will begin on September 9th at 12:01am.

Model’s Bulletin
Remember that editing your photos in any way will result in immediate disqualification. Some of these pictures look a -little- cropped, but due to time restraints I will let it slide (assuming they actually are cropped.) Remember that you must take your screenshots with normal, in-game settings. No outside programs to enhance graphics. For those of you using fraps or something similar, please let me know! I need to know why the SE Logo is not in the bottom left corner of your pictures. (This is not against the rules, but I want to know if it isn’t there because of fraps or because of you cropping it out which IS against the rules.)

I need to know why the SE Logo is not in the bottom left corner of your pictures. (This is not against the rules, but I want to know if it isn’t there because of fraps or because of you cropping it out which IS against the rules.)

I use fraps so some of my shots will be without a logo. :3 Sometimes I prefer the timing of a shot from my normal screenshot folder though, so some will have it.

Same here, using fraps for taking screenshots. Makes it easier for me to spam the screenshot button without having my game freeze for that 1 second to register the screenshot.

Aww favourite five? It's too hard to narrow down fifteen to five... but oh well here goes* (*obvious asterisk - these are all my opinions. feel free to consider or disregard them as you see fit):

Valentina - This, in one word, is class. I just get a really sophisticated feel from the pose, clothes and expression you're giving, while you added the sexy by throwing in a little cleavage. It's quite simple, but to great effect. My only real (minor) issues with it are that perhaps a couple of the furnishings in the background could have been moved to better suit the photo - mainly the mender/junkmonger/whatever it is. But other than that, well done.

Kaelah - "Aww little kitty, what's on your mind?" - your previous shots haven't particularly stood out to me, but I have to say I really like the feel I get from this one. The books and wood in the background are quite neutral colours which, in addition to giving the shot a 'library' feel, also makes the white you're wearing stand out much more. This puts you at the front with the dark red chair and rug, which go perfectly with your hair and skin. All this and a cute pose. I have a problem with that gargoyle (vodoriga?) statue though. it feels a bit intrusive.

Ronberku - My first thought was "wow." I really love the cascading light effects from the window. It drew my attention right to where you are sitting which, combined with that pensive gazing out of the window kind of reminds me of myself when I can't study. However, the more my hyper-critical mind looked elsewhere, the more I felt that the shot was a bit claustrophobic, for lack of a better word. The books could have been a bit further back on the desk, which I feel would have opened the shot up to your position quite a bit.

Kurri - The chair and bookshelves look quite large in comparison to you which really plays to your strengths as an adorable little lala. In addition I really like the symmetry of the shot and how the angle of the plushies and the bookshelves direct attention right to where you are sitting. Not to mention your pose, which I likened to someone thinking of what to put in their diary (nice job in making the ring look like a pen, by the way). What's in that diary? I don't know, probably world domination or something. most lalas seem to be into that sort of thing

Maxwell - You just look so happy. It made me happy. Also, matching tree and plants in the background. Again this week my opinions on one of the shots seem to fall in the "I don't know why I like it, I just do" category. Maybe I'm in the mood for happy. And trees. You are too cute. Keep it up!

I feel like I wrote an entire essay on this, but oh well. Makes me look smart. I know that people usually say the "it's difficult to choose" thing, but I honestly mean it this time around. I feel everyone is going to get pretty high scores this round

Damn, 5 out of 15?! This was tough... I'll try to post my whys this time since it's only 5.

1. Bleizahr - I liked your expression and that your were interacting with your shelves. New to the job? Those red glasses were very cute - yes, on a Roe. :-)

2. Jayzan - Liked the camera angle, set up, lighting, glamour, and the emote. The glamour makes me think if we met, you'd be the nice librarian who smells like dusty old books. Nice behind-the-desk view.

3. Vahn - Chuckled when I saw this. I could caption this in many ways. In any case, you're making books look grooooovy! I liked that the library had clear aisles.

4. Yunie - Looks like I came into the room and surprised a little scholar pacing back and forth on her desk. Very cute! I want to try the library set up in my own room.

5. Ciara - Choosing a 5th was hard - among Ciara, Kin, and Kaelah, Ciara's pose and expression came out on top for me. Her sweeping hair is nice. Nice modern-tech library scenery. Hmmm, those shorts. Sexy librarian indeed!

Yunie - Good character design with colours that contrast nicely to the background. This one also has a good librarian look, and I very much like the feeling of the photographer having opened the door abruptly and walked right in on a scene. It has a touch of humour.

Ronberku - Perfect librarian feel to both the character and, obviously, the surroundings. The lighting gives the image a very nice, paper dusty touch.

Ciara - Pulling off the sexy librarian stereotype in a good way, and I like that this library has a more modern, almost Garlean look than the others.

Jayzan - Nothing that really makes this one stand out from a crowd, but it follows the guidelines decently in every way. The character design is solid, and I was actually a little surprised to see someone manage to pull off the librarian look with a Roegadyn.

Vahn - Nice to see a more actionbased, almost evil touch to the librarian! My fifth choice for this reason.

I tried to vote more based on the characters themselves, rather than the background because I know it would be tough in some situations to get the background quite as you would have it. Therefore poses and what the models were able to due with said backgrounds were my votes main influence.

Ronberku: just stunning. No words.

Kurri: too much cuteness, and the pose is something you would typically see a librarian in.

Jayzan: it's all in the pose, gives me that flustered librarian feel.

Maxwell: too much cuteness, and I feel like you showed the struggle of what a Lala librarian would go through by jumping on the books xD
