    Error 1012 Update launcher?!

    I just logged out of my account to switch over to my husbands account to check his chocobo and I keep getting this supposed bug where the game is acting like I need a version update and won't let me get into character selection. I can't find any fix to this bug so can I please get a response on this? I really don't want to have to uninstall and reinstall, it will take FOREVER!

    i've tried fixing from this http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...are-no-updates many times but still does not work.
