Stuck on story quest. Cant do anything :( Need a quest reset.

Steps:
I was just doing story with my friends an my alt to help them out and play with them when we all got to this part I handed in my quest to the NPC and hit complete but the quest didn't hand in. So I handed it in again but the Item was gone. The quest name is "Crazy enough to work" and I do believe the item was the corrupted crystal. I was having trouble with a quest before and I had to click it like 5 times for it to hand it but it wasn't a item hand in so it worked. I do believe this was just from my laggy connection seems I have friends all running off my connection doing story also.
I spoke to a gm and they told me to come here. I was wondering if I could just get a quest reset or something cause as soon as possible as I have everyone waiting for me and there is nothing I can do
