Offering a suggestion!

Greetings friends and fellow FFXIV players.

I recently switched servers and all my friends changed their names, unfortunately I was not aware at the time that I was supposed to create a character with the same name ahead of time in order to have that option as it never came up in conversation.

That being said; Support basically said that the GM's have no options for name-change and that unless I want to spend another sever-transfer fee, then transfer -back- to the same server again I would just have to make due. They also said to go to the forums and submit feedback asking for a name change option.

Where should I submit this request and who's with me? :3!

As mentioned in this thread, the team is still discussing the details around this, but in the future we definitely want to offer more phials of Fantasia as well as something that allows players to change their name.

Since there's no suggestions/feedback forum (that isn't dedicated to website feedback), the general rule is to just make suggestions in whatever forum best fits the topic. UI suggestions in the UI forum, healer suggestions in the healer forum, etc. I'd say this one belongs in General Discussion. Especially since there have already been threads in General Discussion (like the one quoted above) asking for it.
