Obtaining SP in FFXIV - Realistic Options

After the death of leve-quests, SP grinding has returned.
I don't mind but there needs to be more activities. Leve-questing was monotonous but grinding is no better & it is not always easy to find the people we need for dungeons or partying. So here are some realistic options SE could consider envisioning for the future to allow more player flexibility and overall satisfaction in terms of occupancy.

    Our current options

-2-8 man grind party off various monsters across eorzea
    -Instanced dungeons around our level. IE (20-31~ for R25, 4/4) (40-50~ R45, 4-8man)
(btw you can change to a job lower than 25 after you enter)
SP gained in dungeon is much easier than grinding world map.
-Soloing daily leve-quests for a small amount of SP to keep you busy in down time
-Soloing kills which creates large downtime

Future Options i would like to see

    -Campaign-like alternative.
    -Besieged-like alternative.
-Protect the Garrison with SP rewards
-Balancing Behest with Garrison so when one ends the other is usually about to start.
-Instanced , SP ORIENTED areas with CAPS or possibility of level-sync to get optimal SP
-With grind parties comes the need for Leve-sync, allowing everyone to team up!
-Small mark-up on leve-quest SP making them more rewarding when SOLOED.

This is just a minimum requirement in my opinion. If SE wants to develop some new kind of leveling , let it be born. HOWEVER, not before we have a strict minimum of activities that provide us with reward & satisfaction. Such as what is listed above.

I miss Campaign so much.. was so fun to travel around fighting on the front lines with named NPC regiments for all the nations. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it took many players to take down 1 enemy. I'd like to see players soloing enemies together (until the big boss at least) alongside NPCs to make us feel more like frontline worthy soldiers. I could spend every day leveling up in a Campaign style event!

I made a thread that proposes some greater SP gains for defeating Notorious Monsters. (perhaps SP gain could be bonused if the mob you defeat is a notorious monster?)

Quests offer SP as a reward. That is a fun way to gain SP and also get some story-line fun in too...

giving SP to story quests was a big mistake this late into the game. Especially since most people had completed them already -.-

Healer strike is ridiculously foolish and accomplishes nothing

Levequests aren't dead, they're merely different than before. They still give decent SP if you put some proactive thought into what camp you're questing at, what monsters you're fighting, and what you set the difficulty level at.

Plus, levequests are still the only way to obtain guild marks, and the best way for us non-crafters to earn gil.

These three are pretty much one and the same, and if you've been around Camp Horizon and Camp Tranquil enough, you have have seen there's already something likee this going on.

    Good idea.

I don't see how this solves the problems you mentioned about monotonous grinding and putting a party together.

I'm not so sure about this at present. Level difference isn't as big a factor in SP gains in this game as it was in FFXI. Take a low level class and team up with an R50, then go fight some R40 or so monsters together, and let me know what you think of the SP you get.

This has already been announced in the 1.18a patch notes.
