This would be good incentive. Though I'm still not sure ppl would queue for that since they are easy to get in hunts. But more options that don't involve a weekly lockout is nice

God no... maybe Ramuh's weapons? (I have not tried it but I heard it's not that bad). Or blood spattered mark logs if they feel they'd be too easy to get otherwise.

There already is an incentive, it's gil. Unfortunately if SE tries to encourage players to play one particular piece of content, it will take them from somewhere else. Just look at hunts, it's quite apparent that almost everything else has suffered. If people don't want to play old content, then they won't.

Are you talking about mercing, or the fact that the kingly whisker now goes for 3m or so?

Old content yes, but it did get a new reason to do it being the i95 weapon mats.
