Zodiac Weapon - Atma > Animus - Completed Book Not Registering

Hi, first time in these forums. Tried searching for existing threads regarding my issue to no avail.

Playing a Dragoon, I've just completed the Book of Skyfire II a few days ago - everything is marked X on them. However the +2 strength did not get added to my Gae Bolg Atma.

If I remember correctly, when I completed Skyfire I, the book would just disappear and would add a +2 strength to the weapon. The Skyfire II is still in my inventory (key items).

I even tried killing some of the mobs listed in the book again just to see if anything would give - no luck there either.

Square's email tech support told me to go look at the Active Help or search the forums, so here I am. Any light that could be shed on this would be greatly appreciated.

Not at my home PC right now, but will add screenshots later to show that all requirements in the book are indeed completed.

1. Purchased Book of Skyfire II from G'jusana for 1,500 Tomes of Mythology.
2. Opened book to check requirements.
3. Fulfilled all the requirements - mobs to kill, FATEs, dungeons and leves.
4. Book did not disappear and add +2 strength to Gae Bold Atma.
5. Book still in inventory after few days.

the books don't disappear, they are juste replaced when you buy a new one. Are you sure you're not remembering wrongly what was your strengh value before?

Edit: Gae Bolg atma base strenght is 31. With 2 books you should be on 35.

Oh, I didn't realise that. Thanks for pointing that out. Will check when I get back from work later and post and update here.

Update: Yeah, you're right. The Gae Bolg is now +35 with the second book of Skyfire being completed. I feel stupid now. Derp. Thanks again for the help!
