I'm not sure how the system would be able to single out/differentiate someone leaving as a rage quit and someone leaving because they had to for what ever reason (Not feeling well, etc)... in that case it would end up punishing an innocent person as much as the rage quitters o_O

Yep, been going on since the beginning of the game I believe. Back in 2.0, you would get the full mythology tome award for beating the final boss in a dungeon, so people would fish for in progress games just to snag the full reward. I believe it was on 2.1 where the devs changed the mythology awards to be evenly split per boss fight. Then they done goofed with the solidery tomes by making them final boss only reward.


Now we have animus books and nexus light content where the player only gets award for completing the final hurdle and not the obstacles before it, hence the high amount of in progress fishing. Sycrus Tower is worse because the best drops only come from Xande.

So I'm in a dungeon with a bunch of rude, obnoxious people and it's taking way longer than expected. I want to quit so I can make it on time for my raid but I can't because doing so would mean I'd de-level to 49 and be unable to get into Coil? Is this even an idea?
