How bad are gilfarmer/botters on your server?

Urth's Gift, the entry tunnel with the bats are a very popular gilfarmer location on Gilgamesh, I always see the same Bard level 50 with a ridiculous name ( in an FC of 1) farming Lesser Kalong's with spiritbond crafting gear and an i70 HQ bow. This gilfarmer/botter just spins around and whenever his character model is in front of another target it attacks. Practically here 24/7 except occasionally I see in Limsa at the summoning bell with 6 of the same geared people.

I reported this and urged others to do as well (who knows if anyone is actually reporting this). But, this is a flashback of my FFXI days when on Carbuncle server we had the wave of gilfarmer/botters named Exta-z . Am I the only one who is completely angry about this sort of thing that it doesn't seem enough GMs are taking actions on what I see as quite obvious gilfarming/RMT.

Ragnarok used to be bad, but it's really changed.
At one point I often saw 6 archers/bards trading to one person at the Ul'Dah crystal, all in same gear with head-to-keyboard names and a lot of tells.
Now, I get at most 2 tells a week, sometimes no tells for weeks.

No idea why they left ragnarok but are enmass on other servers, perhaps because they didn't sell any gil there?

There's a whole FC of them, yes.. they have a FC on my server. For at least one group of them. They like to hang out in North Shroud where the Smells Like Tree Spirit fate pops and aoe the plasmoids there.. for some reason. That's all they do.

I was also in Ul'Dah doing some crafter stuff and saw 2-3 different groups of 4 man parties of nothing but Blms phase in and out (constant dungeon running) right in front of the market board. They all had obvious rmt names, all wore complete Myth gear and had the same crafted HQ staves.

I seem to be receiving more rmt /tells than usual, even during times that are normally quiet for me. It's really annoying to continuously Blacklist them.

Cactuar seems bearable. I get quite a few goldspam tells per day, but they usually stop after 1 tell per character, so I don't even have to blacklist them anymore. I don't run into a whole lot of bots, but then again, I don't run around a whole lot in the open world. It definitely was worse in the past than it is today.

I usually get 1 tell a day on Zodiark, although I'm often in instances so that might be something to do with it. Had a couple in dungeons through DF too.

Gil sellers are brazen on Hyperion, bots too, but botters don't try to distract the players. I get 3 to 5 tells per hour

I think Gil sellers are so rampant on Hyperion because GMs have conditioned players there to not communicate with them. If you have a problem on Hyperion, contacting a GM 99% does nothing. GMs do not communicate back or fix anything. The 1 time I did get a message from a GM, I got mail saying I was not ingame for them to talk to me. The message was mailed at 3AM on a Monday.

I get occasional RMT tells, but not much else. I don't think I've ever spotted a botter, though I may just be blind.

Adamantoise is one of the smaller NA servers, so it's not terribly a surprise.

Really? This is awful... I also did a in game report on a bunch of farmer/botters in the South Shroud example, I just don't know why more isn't done about these people who blatantly farm and bot in the open world, ESPECIALLY when their using obvious botting names and all wearing the same gear.

When you enter a zone on Hyperion, there is often a pack of 5 to 20 RMT bots just standing at the zone-in in the same gear; same bots standing there for weeks or months, messaging people relentlessly. Either Hyperion GMs are very inactive or they are undermanned.

My blacklist is full! I mean all of them are gilsellers - 200/200, and when i get another that normaly tries to whisper me more times, I have to take off one of the blacklist before I can black list.

On the other side I have seen a group of i think elzen bots whms once, and few times in little alamigho a group of lalaBLMs (all just standing and all in the same gear)
