A Topic for Discussion - Create any unlocked Coil that drops no loot

As the title says, I'm wondering what people think about the idea of having a separate set of instances for coil that is unlocked to all but drops no loot (where as the actual coil is still progress locked).

My idea is to use this "unlocked" coil as a means to help other players in one's FC experience Coil who are not part of the "main static" and give them some help or pointers. This individual may then use this new found knowledge to try to help build their own group or join other groups that need members filled.

FCs can also use this type of coil to help gauge new members / suitable alternatives just in case they need a substitute or want to start recruiting for another set and can use this as a recruitment tool without repercussion on their normal weekly progression.

I imagine, programming-wise, this idea would be easy to program within the existing frame work. Make a separate instance that is a copy / paste of the original coil and just have it drop 0 loot at the end, so I can see this being quickly implemented (don't quote me on this, I'm not a programmer).

Since the overall complaint of end game raiding is accessibility this will allow the following:
    (1) expose more players to the overall end-game dynamic with less drama / consequence
    (2) increase overall end-game raiders pool as more players have the opportunity to decide if raiding is for them or not.

    ---

I am curious what other players think about this idea and the pros and cons of it.

I know the debates of changing coil to loot lock versus clear lock, and I'm trying to avoid that discussion as I feel those particular points have been discussed to death.

I'd rather focus on other plausible ideas that S-E can use, hence why I made this topic.
