Advanced Macro question.

I've already requested this a few times myself, though I don't see this happening.

I mean, I'd love if we could at least set macros using the crosshotbar/hotbar set commands, but we don't even have that, lol.

I hope that they give us another macro page when ninja comes out though, I'm out of macro slots.

This is being suggested, but it doesnt look as though people have noticed and given it the support it deserves. If it's still in your cross-hairs, please go voice support.

Not a single button press, but multiple presses of the same button. This is already possible (up to 8 layers, using the cross hotbar (CHB)) through the use of hotbar switching. How?

CHB1
/ac "Fast Blade"
/chotbar change 2

CHB2
/ac "Savage Blade"
/chotbar change 3

CHB3
/ac "Rage of Halone"
/chotbar change 1

Using the above macros on CHBs 1-3, all on the same CHB slot, you effectively make all 3 skills in chain under the same button. As for all the other slots, they can be identical across all CHBs, giving the appearance of being static.

The question/suggestion would only remove the 8 chotbar cap, and implement a100 user macro cap, and free up a lot of hotbars.

The problem with doing this is if you press the skill too soon, it will switch the bar to the next one without using the action.

Yes, the combat implications of this may be very fault and limited, but most people here I think are not trying to perform rotation skills with this system. If they are.. well.. I don;t think its a good idea

Yep, I want this too. I want to build a crossbar set macro so I could use just one crossbar for each SCH fairy and have it slurp the skills to the ability slots. I want to put certain macros on each since I micromanage each fairy differently. Not possible and I don't see why. :/ I'm hoping a dev can at least weigh in as to why not. I've seen folks post the botting argument before, but I really don't see how that applies in this instance.

Agreed. This only removes the 8 chain crosshotbar cap and istitutes a 100 chain macro cap (and frees up the hotbars).

That doesn't seem like it'd be very hard. You could set up two crossbars and save them to a crafter/gatherer or even arcanist. Be on Scholar, set up the bar the way you want it. Then use:

/crosshotbar copy sch 1 wvr 1

This will save the exact bar to weavers first action bar. Then you can recall it with:

/crosshotbar copy wvr 1 sch 1

Then you just need to make a second Scholar bar the way you want it set up with the other fairy. Then use:

/crosshotbar copy sch 1 wvr 2

Then make a macro for

/crosshotbar copy wvr 1 sch 1 (For Selene)

and another:

/crosshotbar copy wvr 2 sch 1 (For Eos)

and just click them whenever you want to switch fairies.
