Crafting at lv 50

Ingenuity affects not only progress but also quality gains.
At least Ingenuity II does, not sure about I cuz i dont use it anymore, but I'm kinda sure it also works that way.

As some already suggested, get all classes to 15. You can do that without leaving the craft guild since the guild vendors have pretty much all materials you need for lv1-lv15 recipes and the exp you get crafting all of them should be kinda enough to reach lv 15.

Get your weaver to 50 too since you are almost there. Careful synth II is awesome too.

Others have pretty much hit it on the head. More skills (especially CS2, BB, and SH2) make things a lot easier. There's also potentially the problem of stat requirements for 1 star gear. If I recall it can be pretty tight on stats, but it's possible that I just didn't have up to date gear from turning in a lot of leves from 45-50 and felt it would be a waste to buy something new just so I could make the class specific clothes. So I think I just bought a few pieces to get me over the hump.
