Well, technically you already can. Look into a macro program. You can write macros to press certain keys, or, to press a key or two keys that executes two of your FFXIV macros.![]()

Matoya: And that should give you a notion of how sick and tired I was of those spineless wretches of the Forum. All talk and no trousers, that lot.

Just, that it is not.
You are not doing an full automated bot:
You write a macro - a function implemented by SE themselves- which has several lines of "action wait action wait"
You assign the macro to a button
You hit the button and wait for the synth to be finished.
You can't just walk away and craft 100 three star HQs with that.
You can do a single craft.
Oh and to be able to do this without fail you need max melded equipment, every crafter as high as possible AND use food.
Just a heads up for you.
Quick synthing 9999 of item xyz while going afk isn't against the ToS neither.

Using the game's macro system is not against the ToS, but using a 3rd party program to automate hitting buttons is, which is what the person you responded to was talking about.
Also, 99 is the max at one time for quick synthesis. Unless it stacks beyond 99, you can't hold 9999 of any item in your inventory at the same time. If you quick synth 9999 items without coming back 100 times during your afk then you are doing something against the ToS.
