At 50 Lancer i dont have a problem with Acc, if you have Acc problems then use Acc food and gear. I miss just as much on Archer and i missed quite a lot on Marauder. Like Mika said miss here and miss there. I also know that they improved it somewhat.

Even when using acc/dex gear and a high acc lance WITH food I miss like a tard on lowish mobs. This is something that really needs to be fixed, sometimes it gets you killed because you miss 5+ times in a row and can't get any TP.

I know SE has said Dex = Acc but is that the truth for lancer? Like has anyone parsed it?

Dex is useless for Archer but maybe because rng attack is different?

I only have issues if the mob is much higher than me but my str is in the 170's.

All i know is that i don't miss more on Lancer than i do on any other job around the same prob, and i use a variety of Str and Dex gear.

I dont have any probs so i dont know, maybe it has something to do with my high Physical level. I have just been doing leves on Archer and i missed more on that.

Are you soloing mostly on Lancer? if you are then it would prob become more noticable than if you where in a party. I duoed my Lnc to 50 with a conjurer so i always help if i was going to hit the deck, but it was bad if i ever tried to solo and i did notice it more then.

If you're soloing you'd be fighting weaker mobs, meaning you wouldn't need as much accuracy yet myself and the people I play with still have huge accuracy issues and it's not because of gear. We use accuracy gear and good acc weapons and depending on the mob, acc food. It doesn't seem to have any real impact at all.

get ur eyes checked! lol my dex is only at 100 but with food and some ability i dont have any problem landing BR on NM's

Couple of things to try?:

Food:Adjust your lightning to within the range of the acc food you're using (as per previously linked chart) to get a slightly higher boost.

Weapon:Are you moving as you fight the mob? I have noticed that attacking from the sides/back and from a longer distance increases my accuracy.

Gear:Only suggestion here is optimal rank. I'm not suggesting you are a culprit, but I have seen people who run around in R45 gear at R20 and ask people why their stats/def/etc suck.

LNC50 here. I recommend Life Surge stacked with Still Precision and a good dollop of DEX (dont forget the DEX+ abilities from DoM guildmarks!), and anything that grants ACC+ for weaponskills, like Hawk's Eye, Rings, etc. Additionally, I find the High-ACC weapons far better for soloing. Save Lances for NMs, events, and parties. A common mistake Lancers make is going for the high-damage weapons too early on.
