New Miqo'te Hairstyles? More like single new hairstyle...

So todays developer blog showcased "those new Miqo'te Hairstyles" yet only one of them is new.. Only the female Miqo'te has a new hairstyle were as the male just has the short haired Elezen hairstyle that they already have access to.



So why does todays Developer blog use the plural tense that there are more than one new hairstyles for Miqo'te when really it's just the one female one and a currently already obtainable one for males?

1. The Male Miqo's position makes it hard to distinguish if it's the same one, as far as I can see, I can spot differences to the pic you linked.

2. They don't necessarily have to include the new hairstyle on the pic.

That is definitely not the same male hairstyle, though I can't disagree they look similar from this perspective. Maybe the front has more distinguishable differences. (It looks to me like it may have side-swept bangs that cover at least most of one eye.)

They do look similar with the angle but like posters above me, I can see some differences there. For starters, in the top one, the hair doesnt sweep back past the ears in the same way, and the back of the head looks smoother/brushed.

It's hard to tell but it also looks like the bangs on the top one might be longer over the left side of the face.

Goes without saying, they didn't try too hard to make it look too different for the male lol.
I see the difference but I also see similarities but sweet lord I love the female one!

it's a different hairstyle, the new picture has a bigger side bang while the current hairstyle has a lot more 'spikey'... Idk how to call those. XD

While we're on the subject, I find the concept of 'male' and 'female' hairstyles utterly laughable. I should be able to wear whatever hairstyle I want, gender norms be damned.

The selection on both sexes is pathetic to begin with. Limiting it even more by making some hairstyles only selectable for one or the other only makes the problem even worse.

No its the same, some of the hair has been turned around but same hairstyle.

Its a lazy re-hash. I don't like seeing double of the same style its a wasted spot for something better.

I don't know who is in charge of hairstyles but stop making dupes of same hair then changing positioning or adding to it.

Earn your due don't slap strands of hair and say its new.

The female looks like they tried at least but lazy part on male side.
