Well, if by we you mean the community of the game as a whole, this thread would indicate we don't, by about a 2:1 margin so far.
I'm not against the option per se, but I am aware of the strain it would place the engine under (esp the PS3 version) because even things like adding titles to names is a significant change as far as performance goes. This is orders of magnitude more taxing.
Also, I'd rather devs spent more time on other things.
They can just not give the option to ps3 players at all like they did with the merged inventory.
Well 'we' (the larger community) don't. But that's not reflected in the OP anywhere. Seems a bit dishonest to imply the community as a whole is in favour of it, where the only available evidence is that more people are not in favour of it.
Well, then in that case I'd rather they didn't spend a great deal of dev time for a function that would only be used by a portion of a portion of the playerbase.
chat bubbles remind me of korean chibi style MMOs...
Yees I want it Even if I only could see friends chat bubbles or fc members. Id be satisfied if it only worked in residental areas cause I like roleplaying in my house. I vote aye!
Know what would be cool? Message windows popping up whenever you get a tell. You know, like in good old instant messengers. You can move them around or minimize them if they are in the way. I think it makes conversation a lot more easier and much more enjoyable than the tell chat. It probably won't ever get implemented but I love the concept.
I nearly choked on my coffee at that......
Fun stuff? From SE? Since when? SE knows how to add grind, not fun.
And nope we cant have chat bubbles because they've broken every MMO that ever had them..... not.
Been in plenty of MMO's that had em, and know what... it was all fine. If you liked em, turn em on, if not, turn em off. Gamebreaking problem? Not in the least, despite people here who like to claim it would ruin the game.
It wouldnt.
SE wont do it though because they're too busy developing more grind to remove the fun from the game. Thats about all they're good for really, taking an awesome concept that would be fun, adding enough grind to remove the fun part, and adding it into game.
