I left before turn 6 was out.

-Are there any new classes?

-Can 1 character run dungeons on multiple jobs yet (e.g. lockout issues)?

-Are there decent ways to make gil now, e.g. there was no economy when I left, materia bottomed from materia quests, etc.

-What's the top IL of gear now?

-Is latency/netcode w/e still an issue with fights like Titan HM/Extreme, etc?

-Any new zones/raids?

1) Not as of now, though Rogue/Ninja is due for patch 2.4 in a month or two

3) I really have no answer to this as I just plod along at my pace making gil through my daily hunt logs and putting up items returned via ventures what might get a nibble on the auction house. Maybe others can answer this better.

Well SCoB is now out, Turns 6-9. Syrcus Tower, the next alliance raid of Crystal Tower. ST and SCoB still have a weekly lockout but BCoB no longer has a lockout. With hunts its pretty easy to get to i110 now if you can stand the zerg. Spiritbonding and selling the materia is still a good way to make gil. Materia prices are sky high now. Gear wise i110 is max, with i115 weapons dropping from t9. Latency is still an issue but there has been improvements made.

If you like beast tribe dailies, Ixal beast tribe also has new quests.

Thanks for the info.. Undecided, doesn't sound like much has come out in the last 6 months and I still need to clear turn 5 before I can go to 6 (unless they removed that attunement restriction)

Sadly no I'm afraid that restriction is still in place.

Probably so, I started wow again, prepping for the new expansion in Novemeber and I have a level 50 in wildstar. Wildstar is great, just a little too hardcore, attunements are insane. Wow is fine, it's just dated.

From what it sounds like you're looking for... I recommend waiting until 3.0 (the expansion) before returning. That will bring many new zones, jobs, and from the sound of it, more of just about everything.

Trying to catch up on raiding especially is a pain in this game. Virtually everyone (yeah there are exceptions but it's rare) wants you to be precisely where they are in progression to let you in. (But if you still have connections from when you first played, this could be a nonissue).

There's some fluff that's in or coming soon though. Choco coloring/training, personal housing in just a few weeks, etc etc.
