Scholar and the kiting strategy in the first boss fight of Cutter's cry.

In the Myrmidon Princess boss fight, Can this Kiting Strategy be done by Scholar?

Because when I tried this morning, After I drawed the aggro from the adds and started running around the room (I left my Eos to heal the team).

In a while, my Eos got gangbang by the adds and died. and then no one could heal the tank. I don't have Regan like White Mage does to do instance healing.

Do I need to adjust my Eos setting for this kiting strategy?

Have Eos follow cast feylight then whispering dawn, then have her run around with you.

There's no special trick to it. Blow Eos' cooldowns, Sustain her, and run like hell. Use sprint to gain a lead on the mobs so you can squeeze in a heal without getting overwhelmed. If Eos does die, Swiftcast Summon her back and keep going until your group finally kills the boss.

The trick i use is fey light to boost healing > 1-2 succours > sprint and run for dear life

If you're pro you can have Eos kite with her regen and continually spamming Place in new locations. Or just have her tank in a corner.

The fight can be done without any healing if dps are fast, especially with a melee lb. Come to think of it, isn't lustrate an instant cast? So that can be used on the tank while you are running if needed, and anything else could work when used with swiftcast.

Lustrate is a lv50 skill, you cant use that on Cutters Cry

I just did today as SCH on roulette.
As soon as first add spawned, Cleric Stance + all DoTs on boss to kill it quicker.
Cleric Stance off, did succor 3 times to get aggro on the horde of small adds, sprint, run like crazy, boss should die soon (unless the dps sucks a lot)

I've always switched to Selene for that fight, personally. Gens less healing aggro, and helps the dps burn faster.
