Starting Clothes Available for All Races

remember that all the armor sets are individually designed for each race. Lalafell and miqo'te outfits alone are drastically different from the proportions of other races, with the stumpy legs, tails, and ears.

I can see why you would want this, but I'm personally in the other camp. If anything I would like more race specific gear.

I feel like our choices in this game don't amount to much (All races and guardian deities have almost identical stats for example), so I appreciate it when our choices actually change things for us, like how our grand company gives us unique gear. I appreciate how there are at least a few pieces of equipment that have restrictions to them based on our decisions, like race.

There are certain pieces of other races that I wouldn't mind being able to wear, but I understand it would be difficult for them to go back and modify things at this point. However, someone else mentioned the ability to dye our starting outfits, which I would totally be in favor of doing. Silly brown boots would look much better if they were black. >_<

I get they were designed around races - that's why it would be fun to mix it up. Or don't you like variety?

I like that some equipment is race specific. I'd like to see them bring over something similar to the FFXI racial equipment as an homage.

More like EFL, and better than most, thanks. And no, they're racial clothes because people ASKED for racial specific starting gear before ARR even went into alpha.

This is a terrible idea because of the Highlander RSE smallclothes... Heck, I don't even agree with them on Highlanders.

There is nothing wrong with races having exclusive Gear, We can't all have everything. It's nice being able to pick out gear that will only show that way on your race, And i hope they bring more, if you really want that specific races gear, then pick that race...
