Spammers hitting mailboxes with advertising of gil

I feel Square Enix needs to address the problem of spammers flooding the in game mail box with gil for sale. It's annoying and kinda against the rules of the game. I have been hit from two different sources offering 1000K gil for 3 USD. If this isn't considered a form of RMT then I don't know what is. This is going to lead to discouragement of subscribers and further loss of players.

If there isn't one already they just need to put a mail limit on your account. So if they're sent in quick succession you get blocked from using the moogle for 30mins? An hour?

This is only possible if you allowed RMT sellers to be added to your friends list, as you cannot send or recieve mail from someone who has never been added to your list.

Do you mean /tells or actual moogle mail? cause like was said above you can't receive moogle mail from people who aren't on your friends list. If you mean /tells then just blacklist them & move on cause reporting doesn't really do crap. But if you really have high hopes SE will do something then report them by going to System->Support Desk-> Report Cheating. Good luck on it getting anywhere tho I've reported so many bots with no luck.

RMT Have now resorted to sending friends requests so you may well have unwittingly accepted one, hence the spam in your mailbox.

This new tactic is particularly annoying due to the fact that you have to decline the request, then go to the friends tab and reject it again so they are deleted from your list before you can then finally blacklist them. Very sly, because it's all too easy to accidentally accept if you aren't fully paying attention to what pops up.

I actually got spam from someone not on my friends list before. There is/was an exploit but not sure if its fixed.
