Help please on macro advice

Ok im having trouble getting my song macros to not say the phrase when i turn them off these are how i have em set up any advice would be nice.

/macroicon "For Requiem"
/ac "Foe Requiem" <me>
/wait 3
/p Light Em Up (Foe Used) <se.2>

/macroicon "Mage's Ballad"
/ac "Mage's Ballad" <me>
/wait 3
/p Oh for Goodness Sakes (Ballad used) <se.1>

to not say the phrase? if you don't want the phrase then remove it from the macro, or remove the macro from the hotbar and use ability without a macro.

if you mean that your having trouble getting the phrase to be said then it is because during the /wait 3 you are commencing another action, cancelling the end of the macro. in wich case just shorten the /wait to 2 and u should be fine or remove the /wait and make it say "Ballad up in 3", "foe req up in 3".

No, he wants it to say it when he uses it, but not when he cancels the song. ie he can't with a macro. Not one anyways.

Yeah there would need to be atleast a bit of logic in the macros... like if Skill on then do this else do this... It's why I have a double set of songs on my crossbar... one macroed the other not.

I have two macros, set next to each other. Sorry no screenie but at work atm. Basically on the left I have the "turn on" macro (ballad for ex) then to the right of it a separate on to turn it "off".

First macro:
/micon "Mage's Ballad"
/ac "Mage's Ballad"
/p >> Mage's Ballad -Just used it!- Mana Refresh!! << <se.7>

Second macro(I use one of the X's for this icon):
/ac "Mage's Ballad"
