We decided to do this a few days ago just to see if we could. It was really fun and we were stoked when we downed it.
Setup was WAR, BLM x2, SCH with Selene

How much echo?

Based on the damage, I'd say around 10-15% echo. My Fire spells crit for around 2.2K+ beyond 20% or so.
OP can answer that better, of course.

That was at least 20% based on the tank's HP.

It's 25%.
If you look at the chat window at 44 seconds in, it shows the echo message.
Guess they were a little undergeared compared to my BLM/WAR; nevertheless, still a good job.

I honestly don't remember the level of echo we had. I'm certain we could have done it without the echo, and maybe we'll do it again without. This pull was the first one we used Selene on and it made a massive difference over Eos. Had we been using Selene on the first pull I am certain we would have downed it. We're planning on doing more 4 mans, so we'll be sure to click off echo in the future.

Watching the tank's HP in during the battle...he would have died at least twice without the Echo buff bolstering his HP.

That said though, with the echo we had about 20 secs left at end of nail phase, so without echo we would have still passed the only dps check.
