    Launching - Not Working

    Hi there,

    I'm a new player, and I am in need of some assistance. So lately, I've been having an issue since the latest update. I would go to load the game, only for it to open up after the Menu to say:

    "Connection failed due to lobby error."

    I've never had this happen before, and I've recently started playing the game. This would happen every time I go to load the game, so I figured I would uninstall and re-install the game. However, it is stuck on the FFXIV Boot Version, and has been for over a half hour. I'm starting to get frustrated, and I haven't been able to play in three days.

    I have Final Fantasy: Realm Reborn Collector's Edition and I bought it a year ago, and it has been charging me monthly for it. I don't know where to go about this, and I thought I would start here before I go and find out how to get a moderator or something.

    NEWEST EDIT: This error popped up, and I guess this is the Update Error:

    Unable to launch FINAL FANTASY XIV Updater:

    My laptop is a PC Toshiba with Windows 8.
