RMTs probably have no issue making several accounts and trading with each other. If anything, this feels like more of a hindrance to actual players than a means to stop botting and gil-selling.

That's not the problem. They first need to make it so that you can't put untradable items into a shared account-side storage, which is probably what they're trying to do first before anything else. This is the main reason why RMTs make alts, so they can use account-wide storage to transfer untradable items. TERA has transferrable untradable items, but only in shared bank.

That system is already in place for FC chests. Has been from the start.

That would only make the problem worse, and would again, make it more of a hindrance to actual players than RMT. They will ALWAYS find a way to bypass it. They always have, and they always will. These counter-measures and preventions only make it a major annoyance for people who play the game legitimately. Right now, the only way to actually trade these items is through FC chests. So you would need to be in a company you trust and that trusts you, for one, you'd have to have access to the chest, and you'd have to have all of your alts in the same FC.

RMT can just use two accounts and trade with each other.
