Formal petition to make Star-spangled Subligar obtainable again.

First, I'm sorry if this is not the place or the correct way to ask for this.

Now that the game has a Glamour system, and that now there is a large variety of attire and clothes that has compatibility with all the classes, like the Taffeta Loincloth and the Light Steel Subligar, who allows to being used as Glamour by practically any class; I think is time for Square Enix to bring back the Star-spangled Subligar and make them obtainable again. As today, the Star-spangled Subligar is impossible to obtain and only a few legacy players have this item.

The Star-spangled Subligar is the only "simple" subligar that can be equiped by all the classes. The other subligar available is the Light Steel Subligar, but is has a very different apperance, and the model varies a lot depending of race and gender, while Star-spangled doesn't.

So, please, allows us to buy, craft or simple obtain this item.

We're looking into the possibility of introducing items that were only obtainable during version 1.0. As there are quite a few items, we can't promise that we'll be adding all of them into ARR, but we're currently looking into adding ways to obtain both the star-spangled subligar and chocobo mask. Please note that while they are currently being looked into, we do not have any definitive plans to share beyond that.

To anyone who still checks this thread, the Star Spangled Subligar is now obtainable in the 2.5, it's one of the quest rewards of the Moggle Delivery quest (Courier level 19 or 20). Thank you again SE, and thanks Wobble for telling me about it.

It was a quest reward from the fisher class quests. So it should be no problem to make them obtainable through fishing ^^

Speaking as someone who is a V1 player but doesn't have a Star Spangled Subligar, I say there should be more exclusive items, not fewer.

I'll admit I have a vested interest because I do have some gear that (for the time being) is exclusive.

But it's better for the community imo to have items that are available for a limited period. They don't seem that special when you get them, a year later they don't seem that special, three or four years later you find that there are only a few people who still have them and they are a badge of 'this is what I did/accomplished'.

As a person with the only exclusive item is the 1.0 CE head piece, I agree as well. So what I don't get the cool stuff in V1, it makes it more interesting seeing those things pop up once in a while. It adds meaning to them instead of another garbo item to be glamoured, or an armour piece that everyone has a clone of.

I think that some things should be left exclusive. I wouldn't mind seeing newer gear added in-game that might be a bit similar though.

I would not call equipable quest items as exclusive items ^^
