I know a lot of people built all new desktops just for FFXIV, but do any of your cases look like this? This is to show everyone that I was one of FFXIV's biggest fans. My desktop pc represents. I had some of the highest hopes that this game would be great and I want it to succeed, otherwise, I wouldn't have done this to my pc. I'm not just trolling for Tera.

Decent looking case mod, but you chose a rather bad base case. No front/top fans on modern hardware = very bad ventilation = components that will wear and tear much faster. Unless, of course, it's liquid cooled.

If it's not I sure hope you have good aftermarket CPU/GPU coolers inside that thing. Otherwise I'd bring the mod further open a square or round hole on top (just over the CPU) and one on front, fit two 120/200 mm on them covered by thin mesh to work as dust filtering. Front fan sucks air in, top sucks out.

Edit: I don't see screws on the side fan grill too, which probably means you don't even have a side fan. Not sure what hardware you have inside that case, but I have no doubt it's suffering. I'd put a side fan too, still sucking air in (position of the grill isn't the best on that case, as it's on the CPU, side fan is better placed on the GPU).

By the way, obsessive negative nancies are worse than trolls, mind you. But honestly, if you hate FFXIV this much, just gut that case, get an Antec ThreeHundred for less than 50 bucks, fit in all the fans it holds (one side, two front, sucking in, in addition to the back+top sucking out ones it has by default), and your hardware will thank you.

For me, aside from buying the CE and checking up on the game like a crack head and getting me and all my RL friends overhyped about the game (oh and having a 14 wallpaper on my desktop) i never went as far as that...but man does it hurt afterwards.

You put stickers on your case... Great JOB!
Post on here when you got a Case Labs case custom painted with FFXIV logo, the side, top, and front windows etched with your character and FFXIV. Have you motherboard speaker play the Final Fantasy theme upon boot up. Project images of your latest NM battle on the nearest wall from a mini projector mounted on the case. Have the water cooler spray you with water whenever you are out at sea.

Then I will say you are a case modder. Stickers and a drawer... meh.

I like the stickers, but I would not call that a "case mod"

Yeah, I know right. I thought it was going to be the greatest thing ever, turned out to be a big let down and caused a lot of freakouts.

The blog was originally $15 case mod, not supercool liquid cooled glowlights case mod, which is what every pc modder have and it feels totally unoriginal. I was aiming for a simple design that everybody can do on a tight budget. I did not want to get those so called "Custom" pc cases that are mass produced overpriced crap. Those drawers are nice, very useful in hiding stuff. I don't care if you don't consider it "cool" just because it doesn't have glow lights on it or fans. I haven't seen anyone have it in their computer.
