I believe what she's getting at is how incredibly easy it is for WHM to get full credit on anything. A rank Hunts die in only a few seconds, S rank die in less than a minute. But with a WHM, it's very easy to get full credit, because of the massive amount of threat they generate spamming their cures. Have everybody stack, hit Divine Seal, Medica 2, Presence of Mind and then spam Cure 3 until the fight is over. Pretty much guaranteed full credit, no actual effort required.Though I do like white mage, white mage is over rated in Hunts. Get a scholar that knows what they are doing in hunts, coupled with a white mage (even two scholars will do it) and a group that puts out all effort (assuming all are present on the mob) and you end up with full credit every time.

Monk is superfun!
It's a little hard to get the rotation right, but once your fingers learn how to do it it's really fun!

This. I've always gotten full credit this way. Sometimes I'll throw an Aero on the mob for giggles, too.I believe what she's getting at is how incredibly easy it is for WHM to get full credit on anything. Just very brief looks at the jobs.
Tanks:
PLD: PLD has one combo you'll be using most of the time, with another for when you need to get some MP back. Flash is also heavily used for group pulls. It has 1 DoT unless you equip Fracture as a cross class.
WAR: Arguably better at holding hate than PLD, and has the beefiest HP. Also puts out more damage than PLD, the drawback being PLD has much better damage mitigation.
Heals:
WHM: My job of choice. Big numbers on heals (and two Heal over times) and pretty nice damage output to boot (Cleric Stance on). Better at AoE healing than SCH, but only has stoneskin for damage mitigation. Has two DoTs that are optional to put up in fights (because you're healing most of the time, but if you can weave some Aeros and Stones into a fight without letting the tank die, all the better). Stance dancing is fun to do as well, can heal and help kill mobs quicker.
SCH: Lesser heals in exchange for damage mitigation and a fairy friend who also heals with you. "Meh" damage even with Cleric Stance in regular instances. But if a mob is alive for the duration of your DoT's it's still pretty good damage. Surprisingly only has one HoT, and it's on the fairy Eos.
Damage Dealers:
BRD: The highest mobility job and second best GCD speed. It's the only job that can keep a constant stream of attacks going even when dodging AoEs from any part of the stage (aside from SMN because they're the king of DoTs).
MNK: Fastest GCD with greased lightning stacks (you get GL by doing any of your combos), and arguably the best damage output in the game (in extended fights). Drawbacks being low numbers in exchange for high speed of attack and when a forced break in a fight occurs you need to get your greased lightning back. Also THE MOST POSITION ORIENTED JOB IN THE GAME. You'll hate tanks who move a lot. Also has 2 DoTs that you want to keep up at all times during fights. One lasts 30 seconds and the other is a combo ender.
DRG: Pushes out burst damage, unlike Monk. Has two main combos, one of which needs to start from the back. Better defense than Monk. Has 2 DoTs, Phleb is like Bard's 2 DoTs and Chaos Thrust is a combo ender that lasts 30 seconds.
BLM: Best AoE damage, straightforward job. Damage output is effected most by heavy movement in fights because of interrupted casting.. Huge burst damage as well. Only 1 DoT you need to use.
SMN: DoT king. That's all you really need to know.

Well only seen a few scholars they have Pixie, Fairy that does healing.
White mages does a 2 shields one stone skin you need reapply often during fights.
And have Aoe and single target heals.

Dragoon has two attacks that require positioning iirc. One at the side for a damage buff and the other in the rear to start the Chaos Thrust combo. Most of Monk's attacks are positionally based, as their potency is heavily effected by position (buffs/debuffs aren't), whereas Dragoon's buffs/debuffs for those two attacks are effected by position and potency is not. Just wanted to point that out =p
I main a bard but really enjoy mnk. Its very engaging.
