But then again. WIll this negativly impact those who refuse to party? Remember the definition of a mmo is not playing together anymore. It is millions of people soloing around you......................(Insert alot more dots). If it hurts the lowest common denominator you cannot do it.

But seriously I think it would be a good idea. Just make it where the rewards are relevant and not all vanity and it would be an improvement to the openworld content.
I do think that 2.3 and hunts to be specific has showed a different side to ARR in that people don't mind specific content focused more toward group based themes as long as it's well balanced. In fact it was more appealing to players because hunt was more casual and easy to get into that say Coil or EX Trails. People play in groups all the time in FFXIV just not open world due to system designs. If you made group based dailies that are casual and don't require a pass or fail approach, I think it would be welcomed.

The only compliant I had about hunts is being required to wait for the server to show up to kill a solo-able mob. Only reason I don't join hunt parties is because i'm in queue working on animus or pvp gear.
