If I enter a friend code and I put game time in after it's entered will my friend receive the expanded rewards as my subscription time increases even though I did not add the time all at once?

If you add time by online payment (credit card) your friend will only get the rewards 1 at a time over the course of 3 months since it counts only when it charges you for the month. If you use gametime cards from the store then he will get all rewards instantly since all 3 months have been paid fully already if you do it that way.
