    So Hunts...

    When I read the threads it seems like peoples complaints mostly are towards other players, pull early , saying wrong coordinates on purpose etc.. so wouldnt the simplest solution for this problem is to give the hunts more hp and damage so that it requires alot sorry ALOT of players?

    I sat on the sidelines of som hunts and dam they died almost instantly and of course the flood of hate comments and name calling followed. . I would really like these things to get a buff because whats going to happen whn we finally get more open world primals, are they going to be squishy and easy to kill or are they going to be actual beast?

    No, because the huge zergs of people currently mowing the mobs down, is not working as intended. And they've already said they don't want to buff the HP even more. The problems you gave, are player created problems, nothing more.

    Then what exactly were they intended to be? Please explain to me since I had left the game way before hunts released amd didnt come back till way later

    They were intended to be for far less players than currently mow them down. ie a full alliance at most for an S.

    SE is gonna soon get tired of all the complaints and move the hunts to dungeons and so that it forces everyone to do dungeons.

    then people are gonna complain about that.

    Hunts are the worst.


    They push you to do all things that are considered bad. Or you just don't do them.

    It would solve the problem right now, yeah. But when the end-game players lose interest in hunts they will not be so heavily hunted. Even now the number of hunters seem to be dwindling vs how it was at launch.

    There would be no point in even trying to kill an A rank two months from now because they would take forever to kill, and give you rewards that would probably be dated.

    It's a poorly implemented system. Simple as that.

    In FFXI Notorious Monsters were common enough that people were separated across the entire world, but each one only dropped specific items so you'd have to aim to kill the one which had what you were after. Since the hunt enemies in FFXIV all have the same basic reward, there's no distinction between one mob and another, so you get hordes of people trying to claim the same enemy all over Eorzea. Since there's relatively few zones and hunt enemies, this means every single fight is awash with players.

    How they didn't see this coming is beyond me, or maybe they did, and didn't care. Either way, it's one of the dumbest systems they've implemented.

    Well killing the B hunts and leaving A and S hunts the way they were at their launch seems pretty silly if you ask me. It only really hurt the solo and small party hunters. I did an A hunt today and so many people showed up for it, that the game couldn't even display half of the players names. And not to mention how i couldn't even see it unless i was right up to it. So their "fix" didn't solve the issue @ all.
