    Hm, well they should be addressing it, but that's stupid that people who bought the game before it was released shouldn't have any issues...

    I am trying to reinstall the game again, and it's stuck on the FFXIV Boot Version. Has been for over an hour.

    Try CCleaner and turn off firewall. It worked for me before. Good luck!

    Well I re-installed the game 4 times already and i still have the same issue (took one Hour each time to download), I also sent in a ticket yesterday and I haven't gotten any replies yet. I'm going to try and get chat support tomorrow and see if they can help me. This is very Frustrating , we should get some sort of compensation! lol

    So many things can give this type of error. It's something that blocks your PC from allowing the patch to download. Internet explorer issue, firewall, malware, to name a few. Check out this thread. It may (or may not) be helpful.

    No offence to you, but I'm having a similar situation with the game. I've done everything that she has done, and even cleaned my computer out. Nothing won't work.

    Her and I are in the same boat, and we're looking for assistance together.
