    Spooky how much your idea is identical to one I posted other day great minds think alike hey
    But yes I do believe alex will play a part in the end of this era, the throne design of Ishgard and the pillars make be believe so.
    But it's a double edged sword, if alex is bought into play to put down an elder primal it leaves us with the thought to stop one elder we unleashed another
    Queue the "ruined halls of Alexander" for next raid tier xD

    I have a feeling we won't see any more primals after 2.5, but instead we'll see powerful magical creatures on other continents. I personally believe we could possibly be heading to Doma in 3.0, so prepare for more Garleans, a lot of FF6 references, and possibly Atma Weapon (the creature).

    From what I understand, continents won't come out until the expansion (along with flight.)

    The first trailer for FF14 back in 1.0 made it clear that there are more Primals in the FF14 World than the currently known ones. It was the early Cinametic trailer showing the events of Silver Tear Lake...

    if you watch the part where the Aether seal was destroyed and the Primals released each orbs of light is a different Primal. Most likely the other Primals are on the other Continents which would require SE to release a New Continent to explore if we want to face these new Primals.

    Far East Continent most likely has their own Primals that are different from Eorzea's Primals being designed to suit a Japanese/Chinese theme look and/or mythology.

    The thing with primals is that they seems to only be in Eorzea. Yugiri didn't know what primals were. The Garleans never encountered primals outside of Eorzea and they conquered most of the world. I believe theres 1 primal for each element. So if we include the elder primals then that makes 12.

    12 and 13 seems to be symbolic in many SE games, especially this one.

    I am more interested in Shivas beast tribe. Did the Ishgardians wipe them out? Or are they so few in number due the Ishgardians. It was said that she belongs to a never before seen beast tribe.

    During the Summoner Trainer dialogue when she explains about the origins of Summoners, it is revealed that Eorzea originally did not have Primals. The first Contact with Primals for the People of Eorzea was during the Era when the Allagan Civilization was on a world conquest. During their Conquest they encountered Primals for the first time in another Continent which put their conquest to a halt since they could not defeat the Primals. After the encounter the Allagan civilization began developing Anti-Primal weapons (such as Ultima and Omega) and even began developing methods to control Primals (which resulted in the creation of Summoner Arts).

    Far East does not have knowledge of the Primals nor beings willing to summon them because they were one of the earliest to be conqured by the Garlean Empire before the events of the Silvertear Lake that released the Primals back into the World.

    However, it is possible old knowledge of Far East Primals still remains in the Far East but have yet to be discovered until a certain Story Plot demands it and as Far East Stands now there are plenty of beings that remain in the Far East that may be desperate enough to summon them.

    It is also possible that each Continent has their Primals representing 1 of each element as well.

    Also, all primals were sealed and so almost forgotten for thousands of years.

    With the Ascians there I wonder if ishgard is experimenting with Dragons in order to somehow control them ala Alagans? In Stone Viginl regular Chudo Yudo was a healthy rampaging dragon. In Stone Vigil HM s/he had chains and spikes sticking out. Why keep it alive?

    Back on topic: People say that those giants in Coerthas are Shivas primal. Yet they honestly look more like genetically modified slaves for the Allagans, based on what we find out I ST

    While they may not add anymore story-centric primal fights similar to how that have been doing, or at least until 3.0 or later, I think it would be a nice addition if they began adding more primal fights similar to Odin, hell I don't care if they call them primals or if they say they are just ancient and powerful beasts like Behemoth.

    It would be nice to have one of these types of rare spawn monsters for each of the major areas such as Odin is in the Shroud and Behemoth is in Coerthas.
    They would spawn in their designated locations under certain conditions, such as specific or special weather conditions.

    Here are some that I would like to see and maybe where they could appear.
    - Phoenix ---> Thanalan
    - Fenrir ---> New area?
    - Kirin ---> Doma?
    - Valigarmanda ---> Mor Dhona

    Here is a link to a list of FF summons.
