    I would also like different colors, icons, or some detail to tell these icons apart as well. It's not necessary but it would make it a lot more convenient. Icons are there so you can see what something is at a glance.

    Monsters don't all have the same teeth, after all.

    Exactly. Whats the point in making all the icons different? Most people are not going to commit to memory what each one is and would mouse over it anyways to see what it is. Alot of the ores/stones are different but I still have to mouse over them to see what they are.
    Except you are incorrect. Many people can easily tell what ingots are Mythril because their blue color for a metal is very unique. It's easy to tell what wood and lumber is rosewood as the dark red color is very different from everything else. Crafters that are going to be having multitudes of materials are the ones that this affects most and the ones that would see the greatest benefit as they will end up learning what each icon is eventually, assuming all the icons are different.

    Changing the color on an icon literally takes seconds so it's not like doing this would make them delay a patch or release less dungeons or anything.
