Tackle Box for Fisher

Requesting that SE implement a tackle box item for fisher to store all or some of the baits used. I know a lot of baits will probably not ever get used at level 50, but for us perfectionists, we like to have 1 of everything available (just like a real fisherman ) I usually buy a new bait or lure that I don't already have, even though I will probably never use it. They take up a lot of space tho :/ so please give us a tackle box. Thanks ^_^

Bait is cheap, especially at lower levels. I see it as more of a "buy it as you need it" scenario. Not to mention that you have 100 spaces in your inventory with which to store things.

Bait is cheap, especially at lower levels. I see it as more of a "buy it as you need it" scenario. Not to mention that you have 100 spaces in your inventory with which to store things.

Buy as you need would be viable - IF all baits were available in convenient locations. If there was a bait shop in Mor Dhona and each of the three main cities that provided every kind of bait, yeah, there'd be no need to carry bait around with you. But there isn't. So, instead, if there's particular kind of bait you need for fishing at a particular location, and you want to obtain it in a timely fashion, you have two options:

1. Teleport to the location that sells the bait you need, buy it, then teleport back. Frequently, this will increase the cost of your bait by 1000 gil or more due to teleportaion fees.
2. Buy the bait from the marketboards. If your bait is even available on the marketboards, this will typically mean a steep mark-up in price.

So, "bait is cheap" no longer applies. As for 100 inventory spaces, remember that on top of 50+ spaces for bait, you also need room to actually store the fish (both HQ and NQ!), as well as leave space for whatever sundries you happen to carry around with you (food, medicines, etc).

While it's true that there are workarounds for the bait inventory problem, we shouldn't NEED to work around anything to be effective at our job. That is why these Tackle Box threads keep popping up.
