I've been getting 90k every 30 min or so, checked my network and ISP, all fine. Issues started since recent patch. On PS4, not wireless.
I am a member of one of the largest and most active FC's on Coeurl server, at least a quarter of our membership are having issues with lag and inability to log in to the game because of 2002 errors in the lobby and 90k disconnects in game. Lag is causing havoc with raids and events not to mention lower levels trying to run dungeons and do quests/leves/fates ect.
That's a lot of people from all over the world to suddenly, out of nowhere, have the exact same problem at the exact same time. There IS a problem and it is NOT user side. Our FC isn't the only one having this problem, we have been hearing about the exact same difficulty happening to FC's and players server wide.
We have people from all over the US, England, Japan, Brazil, Canada and Malaysia and that's just our FC. They are playing on consoles and computers, some are running through steam and some are not.
Almost every time you do a maintenance patch, emergency or otherwise, we get more people affected and those already affected are getting hit worse. This has been going on for weeks at this point and people are rightfully getting fed up.
We have couples playing side by side on the same ISP on separate accounts where one is affected but the other is fine. We have also noticed that it seems like only one character sometimes is having an issue, other characters on the same accounts are not.
Some are blaming ISP's, 3rd party providers and bottlenecks but that doesn't explain why it seems to be global. No one country is affected, all of them seem to be and all at the same time. Seriously, this has gone on long enough at this point.

As being discussed in the other thread you posted mostly the same thing in, most of the time it is a routing issue tied into port congestion in route. There is both a physical and a logical side to routing--two connections on the same line can be run on different ports. One can get nixed in the VLAN's while another passes. Without a proper diagnostic of the specific routes, you can't patently rule out the ISP's responsibility in the matter.I am a member of one of the largest and most active FC's on Coeurl server, at least a quarter of our membership are having issues with lag and inability to log in to the game because of 2002 errors in the lobby and 90k disconnects in game. This has been tested and found to be true time and time again for many games, not just XIV. It is a REAL issue with the infrastructure of the internet not being able to handle the surges in traffic... you pay your ISP to support your connection, need to make them work for their subscription fees and get their Tier3 team to investigate your route(s), especially if a simple tracert to your server shows potential signs of congestion along the way.
^^^ this guy is spot on. Nothing to do with the servers, game, etc. Just a disconnection/connecting to servers issue. It's either your ISP is blocking or throttling (highly unlikely, but likely at the same time), you local connection, or how you're connecting (wireless:wired, satellite:cable, etc)As being discussed in the other thread you posted mostly the same thing in, most of the time it is a routing issue tied into port congestion in route.
