Bravura Novus Stats

Which materia should I imbue my sphere scroll with?

These were what I was thinking:

Parry/Accuracy
Determination/Skill Speed
Determination/Crit
Accuracy/Determination or Crit

I am more of a pvper than a pver. I do not have my Wave axe yet for pvp. But if I do get it I won't need Det/Crit on my Bravura Novus.

I am not in a raiding group and have yet to beat SCoB Turn 6. Any thoughts?

Getting only 2 stats makes Novus very expensive. Would be around 1 ~ 10 million gil to buy all the materia, unless you have been saving materia and have dozens of grade IV materia of the stats you want.

That said you could have 3 (or even 4) stats on your Novus and it would still be a very good weapon. And it wouldn't cost anywhere near the millions of gil of 2 stats only.

I put around 23 Determination / 23 Parry / 23 Skill Speed on my Bravura Novus. (And a few points on accuracy)

Split the stat increases amongst 3 different stats, like Aerolol said. Drops the cost significantly. Secondary stats are negligible anyway. And if you feel they aren't, whether determination/crit is on your weapon or another piece of gear, doesn't matter. If you were to put accuracy on your weapon, it means you could use Noct Breeches (parry/crit) instead of High Allagan Breeches (accuracy/det).

I put 31 accuracy on my novus for that express reason. Many players I know with crit/det on their novus wind up having to sacrifice another piece of gear to get the accuracy cap. Whether that be an i90 piece or an i100 piece with a lesser stat like skill speed. You are better served saving yourself 10M gil and splitting your stats up more or putting accuracy on as one of the stats.

I did Det-Acc-Parry. Parry is arguable if its even useful for wars, but i had gil constraints. If i could do it over though based on my gear i would use crit instead of parry.

I did 44 Parry and 31 Accuracy for mine, so that when/if I get the High Allagan Battleaxe from Turn 9, it'll be pretty much a straight swap of the two. I did have a ton of Battledance IV Materias which I'd been saving, and I also bought up the Market Board as soon as it was established how the melding would work.

31 det 22-24 Acc rest in crit would be my recommendation.

If Gil is an issue swap some det to crit.

im doing det31/acc22/crit22 for my bravura 43/75 atm

detIVs being 500k on my server and they nerfed my GSM money maker this last patch... not a lot of ppl buying SB things as fast anymore.. still selling but not as fast

i have already finished my PLD novus when everyone was in a rush and materia was cheap lol

Well, 31 determination is expensive. But what you are doing (splitting the 44 into 22acc, 22crit) will be a help. Instead of needing 11 Savage Aim IV for 400k each (depending on your server), you'd probably be paying like 5-10k for the materia.
