Oh well maybe next time. they will come through.
"You cannot simultaneously prevent and prepare for war."
They just did gamescon then the 14 hour Live broadcast and they have TGS coming shortly leading right into Fanfest. Cut them some slack. PAX Prime's timing just didn't work out for them this year.
Eh, I'd cut them some slack if it wasn't for the fact they listed Pax Prime as an event on their anniversary website...
For those who may have missed it, forgotten, or in denial that SE did that, here's a screenshot of the website:

They did? As I recall, their presence at East was identical to their presence at Prime this year: A single TV running the trailer for the latest patch on a loop with no sound. It's possible I just missed Leviathan but I certainly don't remember them doing anything like that.

me all i have notice is the fact that we don't get a lot of really interesting information.
the 2.38 will introduce the personal housing (exept if they change this) we still don't know how it will work? do they will have them own area? do we will have different size of house? do we will only have a few plot like the FC house? i know that TGS is coming and all, but that not 1-2 week before the patch that we must get this sort of information.
i know too that the hold a looot of the most important information for the fanfest... but i really begin to think that them communication is really bad recently. like with the hunt, if we did learn before that happend how it will have worked we will have avoid tons of trouble. mmorpg need more communication, you can't drop something into it, without take in account the effect it will have on the whole game balance.
the example of PAX is a good way to show they have trouble, E3-Gamecon-PAX-TGS-Fanfest, how they want they balance the information we do get with this much event. especially since they hold most of them for fanfest
Lodestone was updated today to include info about TGS. Makes total sense that they're doing things on the home turf, but still... Gamescon had things, Pax got snubbed, and then TGS has things.
Eh, whatever. Just feel bad for my friends who can't go to fan fest, they were looking forward to Pax at least, but got nothing for the game they spend so much time on.
