More Storage Space, are your retainers and your bag full??

Are you overwhelmed with equipment, raw materials for synthesis, and parts for synthesis??
If yes, then comment your ideas.

I for one would love to see the mog house system or something similar, this storage cap is too low. The retainer system while original is very tedious, for one you have to check each one to see who has a stack of the material you want to store so you don't occupy an extra slot. I for one don't have the time to use all of the mats I have in a day. I want to level my war and magic classes, as well as the land and hand classes, but just having the equipment for the different classes takes up about 50% if not more of your storage, not to mention the raw materials for synthesis.

For many synthesis isn't their primary objective when playing FF XIV. For example I collect my material to synthesis at a later time but this has left me with out a single slot for storage and constantly having to discard items because of it.

What are your thoughts??

My storage was full for a time, then I stopped being a pack rat and just vendored all the junk I saved for some unknown reason, or gave it away. Also lowered my retainers bazaar prices so they disappeared faster.

I believe an auction house would solve all our problems. There would be more traffic due to the efficiency. It would be a crafter's paradise.

Reika my problem isn't being a pack rat. I have gathered plenty to level my crafting classes and to craft for gil but I don't have a lot of time to synthesis them all. I am a little more than a casual player, but I like to spend my time in Eorzea doing guildleves with my Linkshell, my friends, and other random players. Playing with others is my favorite part of playing an MMO, I do spend some time on crafting but it isn't much fun spending to much time on it.

You bring a good point, I agree it is a huge part of the problem, the current market system isn't much of a sellers market.

I was thinking of this the other day actually. I'd love to see the Mog Houses return, but maybe without the Moogle. I'm not big on lore, but i've read they just don't belong in this FF for whatever reason. Possibly make it, so each storage chest is individually accessed in your MH, not a global storage count like in FFXI. So you can store armours in one chest, weapons in another etc.

But honestly, I just want to decorate again. That was half the fun of having a MH.

Actually Moogles are present in FFXIV, I ran into one doing an class rank quest in a cut scene ^^

my char and my 2 retainers are mostly out of space, the 'permanent equipment' my char holds is around 70 items before running out in the fields. botany/harvesting alone with all those +1,+2 and +3 quality items fills my inventory and lets me work on my loot list during disciples of the land and during quick party fights. e.g. increasing char's inventory with some little not expensive/complicated quest would be quite interesting, let's say when any job rank reaches 20, maybe in steps of 10, since we will need to store more materials in future like e.g. 'gold dust' or 'red glass lens' which seem not to exist in this game yet ;-)

The inventory space isn't much different than XI's. The only problem here is we need a mail box so we can mule the little things we want to save for later.
