Not sure if it works for Ps4 but on the other platforms L1 + R3 (clicking the right joystick) turns on the virtual mouse mode, then you use the right stick to move the cursor, L2 for left mouse button and R2 for right mouse button. L1 + R3 exits mouse mode.

3. Even though I switched Click target to "Enemies" instead of "Others," Unsheathing my weapon still reverts to "Others." I don't want to select NPCs and Objects. This is incredibly non-useful during protection fates and defense fates that don't have healable NPCs

Click target is different from the targeting filter. Click targeting only affects what you target by hitting X. "Others" when you pull out your weapon refers to what you will target by hitting left/right on the d-pad. Go into the character config and mess around with the targeting options. There are literally tons of options and things you can change. You can change the filter for when your weapons are sheathed and unsheathed, disable the sheath/unsheathe changing altogether, make custom filters, make filter shortcuts, etc.

Open your character configuration. It is under System settings after you press Start.
You want Targeting, and Filters.
Set the Sheathed and Unsheathed filters to the target types you prefer.
Something I have been using that is not default, but after trying, i am liking, is Toggle.
Toggle sets R2 /L2 keys to a toggle mode. Meaning you press it, button options stay Up till you hit R2/L2 again. As a caster is wonderful. When you are fishing is the Best.
