Siren's Biggest Player Initiated Event!

Hello Siren people! I am proud to announce that Me and my FC <Prism> is sponsoring a server-wide event this Sunday. Assembly time is 12pm PST/ 3pm EST on Limsa Lominsa
What is it about? It's to celebrate the 2nd month foundation of our FC, to celebrate the birthday of our current fc master, and to wish one of my friends a safe trip before transferring to another server.
Games would include but would not be limited to:
Amazing Naked Race
Requirement: Level 1 class
You are required to join a party of 8 people to discourage cheating. Once you cheat, you are banned from all the following events. No teleporting, no mounts, No Foods.
Mechanics: Once you have formed a group of 8, we would then Teleport in our destination. From point A to point B, you are allowed to save through Aethernets in each town in case you die. No use of any invisible skills. The first 8-10 people who get to Point B would be considered winners.
Prizes: 1st place : 300k + a crafted level 90 gear of choice
2nd/3rd place: 200k
4th/8th place: 100k

Hide and Seek with scavenger hunt
Requirements: Unlocked Goblet, Mist, Lavender Beds
This event would take place 10minutes after Amazing Naked Race ends.
The person who's hiding can then request to bring one item of his choice and will be done with groups of two. There would be 3 players hiding in each Residentials and the objective is to find them.
Prizes:
First 3 groups would receive 300k. A group is consist of two players.
Fashion Show.
Requirements: Creativity. Lots and Lots of it.
This event will take place 10minutes after Hide and Seek with scavenger hunt ends. The judge will then think of a theme and the community would do their best to look the part. 10 players out of many will be chosen and out of them, will be the top 3. Then we will decide who the best fashionista in Siren.
1st place: 300k + level 90 crafted gear of choice
2nd/3rd place: 200k
4th/10th place: 100k

Last but not the least would be my most ambitious event yet:
Amazing Naked Frontline battle
Requirements: Depending on the amount of people, we would form 3 alliances with people on the same GC. (this may or may not happen depending on how many people are present.)
For our last event, it sounds basically as you read. We will all make a group of 24 players and the leader of each alliances will queue at the same time. This would be the final event and whoever wins in this free for all would take home a whopping 2.4mil to be split on each member of the alliance.

The question I'm curious about, is why anybody outside of your Free Company is really going to be interested in joining this small event? Most people usually care only about their own Free Companies, and those of any close friends. The only incentive to join is for some gear that's easily attainable by almost every player willing to put in some effort, and some money that's also just as easy to obtain. Also, I can understand celebrating your leaders Birthday. Good idea. Celebrating 2 months are an FC? That's not that big of an accomplishment. Not when FC's on Siren have lasted far longer, such as my current FC, The Soloists, who have been around since A Realm Reborn launched. I just don't think you are going to get as many people are you are hoping. Especially not enough to claim the biggest player initiated event on Siren.

It may or it may not be the biggest but it has the potential. I have talked to several FC leaders and they all have agreed to let their members know about such event. Do not be mistaken, not everyone has the gil or has played long enough to get the level 90 crafted gears. I totally respect your opinion and in fact, i was about to email you in-game until I found your reply. I know there have been more FC's with much longer history than us but what I am mostly doing is letting people know what it is like to enjoy our server's community. If I may ask you this, if you are new to the game with minimum to almost no gil, would you be interested in such event? would you or would you not be happy or hyped that someone in the server at least care enough to invite other people in beside his own fc? It is an event which I have planned for long and it is one which I want everyone to enjoy. I have talked to FC's such as Forge, Wyrm, Twerk, D12, KIN, TACOS, etc etc.

This is just from a personal standpoint, but I don't see i90 gear as not very special, or very hard to get anymore. You can buy an entire set of i90 gear from doing Hunts, right when you hit 50. Took me less then a few hours of work to get enough for a full set of i90 gear for my new 50 Paladin. As for money, that's a different story altogether. While it is easy to get for those who are willing to put the time and effort into it, newer players, and those who are still fresh to 50 might not know of the most effective ways yet. It all depends on the players involved, I suppose.

Your point of view is too clouded. You don't understand that most of Siren's pop is casual and don't really have enough to play to get 300k "easy" but tis your opinion and I respect it. I will continue with my event and will enjoy it with the people who do decide to join it. May you have a good day.
