Engineer DOH.

Engineer is a class I've always loved, but in XIV, I see the class more as a DOH. Engineer could craft all things mechanical like steam gadgetry, moving joints, guns, Mammats or Puppetmaster automation attachments, Gunblade handles, mechanical shields, magitek armor and magitek armor attackments. I also see the class repairing puppetmaster automations as well as repairing magitek armors.

This is just speculation, and if there is anything to add, please do .

Maybe this class will come about when classes such as Musketeers come along. Who knows what else will come from new class releases

All for this, it would open up tons of cool ideas for classes/jobs. I imagine if we did get it it would come in an expansion after we defeat the garlean empire as it would likely hinge greatly on some of their technology.

That gave me the impression of a job that uses walking turrets that the engineers build. Awesome.

Patch 1.31a:

Fixed an issue in the engineer quest "Need a Dispensah Here" wherein the NPC who issues the quest would run away from Player at 150% speed. He has been slowed down.
