Decorating private chambers

About how much does it cost to decorate a private chamber? Im thinking about buying one, but I still want to stay over a million. I have 1.38 mil.

If you farm and make all your own stuff, it's quite cheap!

Depends on what items you buy and how many you cram in there. You can get some GC-themed furniture from your GC too with Company Seals/Allied Notes so that's always an alternative to just buying stuff from the Market Board. The Housing Vendor in each housing ward also sells some furniture as well (often cheaper than the MB!) so that's another option too.

But yes, as Blindheart said, if you can craft your own furniture it will probably turn out cheaper than just IKEAing it.

Including the private chamber which is 300k, I spent around 1milish. That is including crafting everything myself and just buying the expensive mats, or the mats that are dropped in dungeons and im too lazy to get.

It's as expensive as you want it to be. I gathered most of my own mats and almost entirely maxed out my room item limit and have a nice looking room that cost me about 300k (not counting the price to buy the room itself, obviously) and almost all of that 300k was buying umbrella fig seeds for the potted umbrella fig and buying a second Floss silk for the stuffed goblin when I became impatient waiting for my retainer to get it.

So yeah just don't buy the crazy expensive stuff and take advantage of NPCs that sell furniture and you should be fine.
