PS4 Input spam error

Ok so when playing on PS4 sometimes when you hit a button it will spam the command for that button repeatedly. In most cases this means moving a cursing several spaces farther than what was intended. Now I've been seeing this issue pretty much since PS4 launch and have many friends on PS4 who have experienced the same thing. Up until now I have regarded it as mainly a nuisance and just moved on with my day hoping it would be addressed at some point in the future. Today is a different matter, while attempting to tend my garden full of thavnarian onions this occurred without me noticing, which resulted in me removing a million Gil plant. If the PS4 input issue can't be resolved, please at least put in a confirmation window for removing crops before they are pulled out. I am the FC master btw and cannot remove my own privileges for removing crops.
