Chocobo didn't change colour due to Maintenance

Chocobo didn't change colour

My chocobo last night showed the meassage "Sokar is growing new feathers" so i knew he was about to change colour I went to bed. Logged in after maintenace today and didn't get the C/S and my chocobo didn't change colour even though I got the message. The 250k I used buying fruits yesterday have been wasted due to maintenance and this possible bug

Anyone else had this issue today

When you check the Chocobo's status, there's a timer on top of that menu. That timer shows you the hours/minutes remaining before the colour change. Did you check if there were some minutes remaining or something? Because I let my choco during maint and when I logged in, I didn't lose my progress, but got the cs of its colour change.

Yes the timer was completely at 0 this morning I had to buy more fruit to get the message again and now have to wait 5h20m

Oh, that's a bummer, I'm sorry to hear that... You didn't take your choco off from the stable since then? If you only feed it before maint and you lost all your progress... I might suggest you to submit a ticket and a GM could give you a better answer and, if you're lucky, a solution. If that's a bug or there was a problem, it might be addressed so it won't happen again.

Sorry to tell you this but it was not due to maintaince. Mine changed this morning but I encountered your issue 2 days ago and have no clue how to replicate it.

Sorry to say that that message doesnt mean what you think. We've had that message maaaaaaany times in wich the chocobo didnt change color.

Make sure the system says "****** is beginning to grow new feathers!"

Because that will tell you that your Chocobo is now changing colour.

If it doesnt say that, that means you need to give it more food or change food.

I've had the same "issue" this morning but just before the maintenance. I think sometimes, even if you feed it and have the message, none change will appear, because of RNG ^^
