Gold dye

Just a quick question on dye. I keep seeing DRG's and others with their gear dyed gold. I have completed the quest to dye my AF and all that, but I cannot find any dye that is gold. What dyes are being used for the appearance of gold?

go to your dye section and it will show your character in the corner and select the colors it will show you the colors like a example.

There is no gold dye as far as I know. Its just if used on metal yellow (and its other shades) will look gold.

Gobbiebag Brown looks kinda like a light gold-ish.

If that doesn't work, there is an Orange that I KNOW looks gold. Not sure which but a buddy of mine has some of his DL gear dyed with it and it looks Gold.

Only some objects allow the metallic look. For example mythril sabatons are shiny but when dyed lose their shine and just look like you painted it. The monk dark light armor however retains the metallic look regardless of what color you dye it.

It is one of the oranges. Easiest way to figure it out is(even without the dye on you) just go into the dye window for that piece of gear. Then select the dye for it. That way you will be able to see the preview.
