Please enforce Item Level requirements for dungeons

as i said in earlier posts, i already have the soldiery ring, and i also forgot to mention that it was the EX primals, not HM. the ring was the only piece of gear that wasnt 90+.

i wasnt a fresh 50, but there was still stuff i didnt know, like the guy in gridania who gave th achievement rewards. i didnt learn about him until last week.

also, since the time i had cleared garuda ex and got to heart phase on titan ex, i leveled my PLD and got it to i94, the same level as my WHM at the time.

Just as a test, I equipped my summoner with a level 32 hat and shoes (battlemage set) and it only dropped her average item level from 63 to 60. One ring isn't going to hold you back like that. It doesn't look at every item you're wearing, it looks at the average of all of them. Two handed weapons (MRD, SCH, WHM) and dual-wielded weapons (MNK) I believe count as double, but it's still looking at the average, not each individual piece.

CT1 is a hell worth forgetting about nowadays. When my GF dinged 50 on her BLM I thought " ah CT, nice place to upgrade from af1 to get ready for CT2". Little did I know....

This is so annoying when this happens. And it happens alot. Even with the Spiritbonding "fix" in SC for example it still happens alot.....but the Solution is soooooooo simple....you have ilvl rquirement to enter the dungeon right? right! just dont let ppl change Gear inside.....aaaand its fixed

For people saying don't do CT unless for glamou, your forget new players HAVE to clear it to unlock ST, I don't feel bad for someone only waiting half an hour though after a friend waited 3hrs and still no pop as DPS. As the tower progresses it will become a bigger issue for newer players since then ST will be abandoned too.
Some sort of forced Ilvl check is needed though to stop people trolling like in this case
