SE loves to waste our time. FATEs are stupid and SE wants the game to revolve around them.

Yeah same thing, got gold, no credit for hunt, just Lightning drops. Popped again 3 min later, no Lightning, got credit.Same thing for me yesterday! Went to Swiftperch, killed Glutenous Gertrude and got a drop (which I didn't need!) and no credit for killing that stupid bird (which I needed!). Come on, SE, it's not that hard to provide credit for both. Heck, I've had to discard more of those packages than I could use.

If you all think THAT's bad, try getting Brounger & Seps for daily hunts....

Now on to hour four (two nights in row) for tower of power in Coerthas, on bright side, nealry finished watching entire first season of walking dead tonight... /fix it

If I get the hunt package with Seps or that Tortoise in Thanalan, I do the rest and discard it. I also got the Lightning fate pop on top of Gertrude, twice in a row yesterday. Funny/annoying thing was that she appeared both times when the thing was almost dead. Thank god this will be over with on the 10th.
I have no prayer for that...

Had it yesterday. Knowing the Seps is an ultra rare one and not having ever heard of Brounger made me throw away the book directly after I completed the 3 random mobs. Did not even try to look once in both areas because often, when I start with something, the Nerd in me wants to get it done, no matter if it makes sense or not lol. Shame, the Officials respond to many things asked here on the Forums but as soon as it is about ATMA's and FATES for quests, they remain silent. I can't understand why 2 of the hottest topics available are totally ignored.
They could use presence sensors or something like that, I've already see that in several games and it works. Something like: if 2 or 3 people with the hunt or quest stand around the area they will pop no matter what.
Yes, I am getting very tired of Fates being forced onto me to do anything. As someone who has limited time to play, this is a major turn off for me.
I would just like to thank SE, After staring at my screen for two hours waiting for the Lutin Fate to pop, I realize that I am truly wasting my time with this game now. This is a DAILY hunt and now you have wasted a good part of my day. God forbid I step away for more then 30 seconds in case the fate pops and I miss it. A game should be interactive, not stare at your screen waiting for something to happen. That is enough from me. Have a good life SE and thank you for giving me the time to realize that I need to move on with my life.
