Yes! Would be great if your companion would react to your gathering and such -- hop around or seemingly happy if you successfully get something, looks down and sighs if you don't, starts running around when it notices aggro nearby, sits when you sit (seriously one of the reasons I loved puppetmaster), etc.
The option to befriend specific types of companions within that DoL type would be great too =)

This is a really neat idea! Reminds me of that one goldsmith quest where you follow a spriggan and it fights other mobs on the way.



I can imagine using Lay of the Land and seeing your companion run towards the nearest node <333

It really would make the DoL classes more enjoyable.




This seriously made me smile! I'm still waiting on the Shepherd class if that's still in the works (they keep mentioning it in LL!) so we could add an adorable ewe in there somewhere.
