    Leveling classes other than main

Does anyone know of any word on if anything can be expected to change when it comes to leveling other classes after you complete the main story? It's just always such a monotonous task that really isn't all that fun because you're either constantly queuing or staring at the map waiting for fates. It doesn't feel very adventurous or anything. I hope they don't plan to always keep it that way, but I haven't heard much about how the devs feel about leveling in a while.

If I have one complaint about the game, it is the leveling of jobs after the main story. It is a shame that there isn't a way to 'replay' the campaign after you hit 50 to help the leveling proses a bit.

There are lots of ways to lvl already and it feels faster than the main story. You already get a bonus on anything below your max level job. Doing one roulette a day is usually enough to get you a full or close to full level. Then you have logs, challenges, fates (there's plenty around that you dont have to chase them), and then more than enough side quests around to fill the gaps.

I have not found it hard at all. 3 jobs to 50 in a couple may 3 months now. Challenge log, leves, dungeons.

I didn't say it was hard, nor did I say there weren't numerous ways to level. I simply said that it's not fun. It's monotonous. I would just like to see more variety and more fun. It's not fun queuing for the same dungeon 8 times in a row, and it's not fun to just run around a zone and do the same types of fates over and over. It doesn't feel very adventurous; it feels like a chore.

But fates give more exp then story quest it self, I don't know why people expect leveling there second class to 50 in 2 days.

I think he's mostly talking about how repetitive and boring it is.

I totally agree, working on my 3rd 50 and it's a dps so long dungeon ques. It's taking a lot of patience and there's only so many times I can watch svara fall before I'm sick fed up of it .

Agreed, levelling is a chore. But I find dungeon spam teaches you a lot about your job by the time you hit 50. Fate spam is just....you can always tell when a tank levels to 50 with fates :3

Well, I faced the same situation, because of my completist nature made me level all my classes. The things I did were:

1- Do your daily roulettes. (The money, the exp and the possibility to train yourself with that job)
2- Do some FATEs (Giving you GC seals to help your gear to be updated)
3- Do some leves. (Leves give you almost the same exp than a FATE of your level and some pink gear, which is free and nice to keep your gear updated). They also can be done in party, as long as the party member get the same leves than you.
4- The weekly challenge log. Seriously, it gives a lot of experience and gil.
5- Help lowbies in your FC. I used to ask first if people needed these dungeons, so we queued together and I helped them.
    6- Hunting Log.
7- Guildhests. Thankfully, they made it so you can queue them with every job and you'll receive the bonus exp you received the first time.
8- Have some goals: e.g "I want the green gear from Brayflox", "e.g I need to practice my class... as I receive some commendations as well".
9- Once you reach the higher levels, you can start doing: First room pull in Dzemael Darkhold. First room clear in Aurum Vale.
10- Beast Tribe dailies. Not much exp, but money and ventures.
11- Always log off your character in a sanctuary, even if you're not leveling up, so you can stack rested exp. I recommend you to burn it in dungeons.

These might be my suggestions to ease the process. Keep in mind that you'll be spiritbonding gear as well, so it'll help you to get materia for personal use and selling.

In about 2 months of playing, I have almost all my classes (including hand and land jobs) maxed. In less than 2 months, I had all my combat classes maxed.

Now, that being said, it is a chore. It is work. There are a few tricks to make it go faster, but in the end, it is a rough grind.

From what I've seen, I doubt that there is much in terms of plans to change this. What you can do, however, is to only do grinds as your get bonus exp from resting in a sanctuary so that you are doing less grinding and otherwise just do your dailies and weeklies.
